why not root?

BECAUSE USING ROOT FOR EVERYTHING ALL THE
TIME IS LIKE SHOUTING (OR WRITING IN ALL CAPS)
EVERY TIME YOU SAY ANYTHING; YES, TECHNICALLY
YOU ARE ACCOMPLISHING THE TASK AT HAND, BUT IT'S
INELEGANT, IT'S WITHOUT GRACE; IT DEMONSTRATES THE
SAME CLUEFULLNESS SHOWN BY PEOPLE WHO DRIVE 200
MILES ON THE INTERSTATE WITH THEIR TURN-SIGNAL
FLASHING; IT'S THE WRONG TOOL FOR THE JOB
BECAUSE IT IS DRAMATIC OVERKILL FOR MOST COMMON
OPERATIONS; THE CONSEQUENCES OF OTHERWISE TRIVIAL
ERRORS ARE POTENTIALLY UNLIMITED, etc, etc, etc...

In other words, it's like using Microsoft products. ;->
