Alpha-based Multia Hardware Lockup Problem

I've had the same thing happen on a couple of Intel boxes with a bad
3C905 ethernet card.  It usually froze up tight after a few minutes and
then wouldn't boot.  I assume you pulled that out while doing the
hardware swapping as well?  How about the cache stick and so on?
