Sony Emotion Chip running Linux

I was digging around and I came across something astonishing...
http://www.haveland.com/cgi-bin/getpovb.pl?search=Single%3A&submit=List+all+Single+Results

Take a look at the top score for Povbench. Its a 300MHZ Sony Emotion Chip
running Linux 2.2.2 with their custom compiler.

Couple of things to think about...

1. This could just be a hoax, if so, oh well.
2. Sony has linux running on a 128bit processor with supposidly phenominal
floating point
3. The price is really low (like $528) per machine. Can we say "Cluster
from hell!?!"

Anyway, thought I would just send this your way. I think its cool
