RH 6.1 the hard way

I've just upgraded to Red Hat 6.1, the hard way:  I was running 5.2, but
made a mistake while doing backups.  TWIMC:  don't do a "mv" command across
file systems, especially logged on as root.  Trust me on this.

Anyway, I'm going to put Samba on the machine, so please pass along the
URL's for your favorite HOWTO's and F.A.Q.'s.
