sending email within 5 node network

Hello linux lovers
I having a heck of a time getting some kind of mail server
running
at home. i have rh6.0 as the server. some of the other nodes
are windows and suse 6.1.
goal: to have 5 nodes able to send email to each other.

I do have documentation (i think to much) because i am getting bits
and pieces from everywhere
i have rh6.0 running sendmail (sender) pine, elm
                                   fetchmail (receiver)
and on windows machine i have a mail cleint running (something i got
from winfiles.com) it does pop and smtp.

problem: i never get any mail even if it is on the same machine!

                      thanx Niece
