First Time Alpha install: Prep ?'s

Hello,

I have installed slack and redhat many times in the past, and I have become
quite comfortable with it. Some time in the near future I am going to be
installing RH 6.0 on an Alpha.

I really have no prior experience with this hardware its a 164LC board with
a 21164 processor on it. The RH manual has includes an "Alpha" install
step by step guide.

Any one have brief comments about the differences. For instance, how much
additional prep time I should plan on? Any special Alpha "Gotchas" I
should be aware of?

Thanks a bunch in advance,

-Noah
