followup from nite with SAMBA

The Intel 8255x chipset is PCI; automatic configuration is supported by Linux.

Also, for ISA network cards, you can either disable PnP support as you did, or
you can use "isapnptools" to configure your PnP device in software.  Since many
NE2000-compatible cards do not support disabling PnP, it is important to know
how to cope with this.
