SSH

In regard to ssh, can anyone tell me if it possible to relay x traffic
through a proxy machine? Here is the setup.

remote user -->ssh-->proxy
machine--->ssh--->server_1----Xwindow---->remote user

I know it is possible to connect to a proxy machine using ssh and then
connect to an internal server. But can the remote use throw back X
sessions through the proxy machine all encrypted in ssh? Currently the
internal server throws unencrypted windows to remote user. Is there a
way for the proxy to store the incoming ip address/ethernet address and
when x windows are requested, forward them to the correct remote user?
