Souper Computer

Hi All,

Done a bit of digging and have successfully built a two node Beowulf. Am adding more nodes tonight, will probably have performance stats in the morning. All up its fairly painless. ;)

I'm using pvm3.4.beta7 - very cute.

Some good references:

http://www.cris.com/~rjbono/html/pondermatic.html (Excellent Step-byStep)
http://netlib2.cs.utk.edu/pvm3/index.html (Download Site for PVM and other utils)
http://www.netlib.org/pvm3/faq_html/faq.html (complete FAQ)

Note: in the first url, he says run pvm -> pvm is in the /home/XXX/pvm3/lib directory.

Please let me know what sort of performance you can pull from your respective setups...

Cheers,
Marty
