Microsoft Bus Mouse

I've installed RedHat Linux 5.2 and after some minor problems the
system  is functional. I have one problem that I have not been able to
resolve and that is using a Microsoft Bus Mouse with XFree86. I've tried
a number of things and it does not work. I've changed protocol on
XF86Config and still the mouse does not work. If there is anyone that
has resolved this particular problem please let me know.
