Need Help

Hi . I am trying to install linux (RED hat) on my pentium computer. If
you have time please send me rather comprehensive (if concise)
instructions. I am installing a second hard drive on my computer
(2.1gig) in addition to the one (1gig) I already have with WIn95 on it .
I intend to move the data from the 1gig to the new hard drive and make
it the primary hard drive (Would 'xcopy' help me do that properly on
Windows?) . The Master Boot Record however is still on the 1st hd . Does
it make a difference?
If the MBR is able to be moved to the new Hd , how is possible?
When I install Linux (with Lilo) on the 1gig , and the MBR is on the New
hd , Will Lilo allow linux boot? Are both these hd's the same 'chain'.
Should I rather have lilo on the floppy and boot from there? Or should I
keep the configuration unchanged and use the second half of the new
2.1gig hd for linux? and the rest for WIn95.
All suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for your valuable time .
