Msdos hidden files viewable from linux?

I have an idea: if hidden files are prefixed with '.', then system files might
as well be prefixed with '..' -- although files which are both hidden and
system might have to use '...' to be unambiguous, and any future flags would
have to use a number of dots relatively prime to all previously defined numbers
of dots...
