BCS Linux & Unix User Group -- Wednesday, March 15 1995

[ Tue Sep 27 14:07:20 EDT 1994 ]

This is an automated monthly reminder of the BCS Linux & Unix User Group
meeting.

The BCS Linux & Unix User Group meets on the third Wednesday of the month.
We meet at M.I.T., Building 66, Room 154, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
We also hold our volunteer meeting a week prior to the main meeting,
at Pioneer Global Telecommunications, 811 Boylston Street, Boston,
across the street from the Prudential Center.

The schedule for 1995 is as follows:

Wednesday, January 18, 1995 (volunteer meeting Jan 11)
Linux as a server for WWW

Wednesday, February 15, 1995 (volunteer meeting Feb 8)
Barry Shein <bzs at world.std.com> of Software Tool and Die
talks about operating a commercial public access Unix

Wednesday, March 15, 1995 (volunteer meeting Mar 8)
Jim Paradis of Digital Equipment Corporation
presents Linux on the DEC Alpha AXP

We don't understand the software, and sometimes we don't understand the
hardware, but we can *___see* the blinking lights!
