X-dos

Has anyone successfully used X-dos? This is a version of DOS-EMU that runs
directly on X-windows (instead of as a terminal app in an X-term). This
would be the best choice because this could do graphic modes as well.
It would run faster than a DOS-EMU in an X-term because it would not
have to talk to X via X-term. It would also be easier to debug than
a console based DOS-EMU (I`ve had DOS-EMU lock up the console).
I tried it in the spring of 94 and couldn`t get it to work.

		Dan.
