self-signed isn't so good, it trains people to ignore warnings/ want to use Let's Encrypt free but traceable certs
even the GOV/MIL is getting away from self-signed
the Wiki provider (
https://wiki.blu.org/blu/
) had their cert expire on Friday. Volunteers are working expeditiously on this as only volunteers can do.

Right, Let's Encrypt is a cert traceable to a known root, *not* self-signed.
