Boston Linux & UNIX was originally founded in 1994 as part of The Boston Computer Society. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Building E51.

About Shane O'Donnell

Shane speaks regularly on network management and business topics at international user groups and industry events. Shane's recent focus is on leveraging Open Source tools in network management and building the Open Source developer community at OpenNMS.org.Shane is a certified OpenView consultant and has created and taught network & systems management classes for clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Wal-Mart, and State Farm Insurance, as well as creating and deploying the latest network management platform configuration for AT&T's Global Customer Support Center.
