Boston Linux & UNIX was originally founded in 1994 as part of The Boston Computer Society. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Building E51.

About Kiran Thakur

Kiran Thakur is studying electrical engineering at the University of Rhode Island. He's an Undergraduate Research Assistant at URI's Wearable Biosensing Lab under Professor Kunal Mankodiya, working on research in linear optics, photonic band gaps, physical implementations of quantum systems, quantum computing, and quantum algorithms.
