Abstract

Why would you want to develop games under Linux? What do you need to develop a game? Dennis discusses these questions, and demonstrates some resources and tools that can aid in development.

Bio

Dennis Payne is a senior software engineer at Skillsoft. He has worked on the commercial game Devil's Whiskey. He maintains several open source games like Bt Builder and Ostrich Riders. He contributes to packaging in the Fedora distribution.
