Summary

Colin reprises his recent talk from GUADEC 2012

Abstract

GNOME is a highly visible and popular component of the broader Free and Open Source Software ecosystem. But with this comes some responsibility.
Colin will first look at why he believes they should refocus the GNOME project goals around avoiding regressions.
Second, he'll discuss some software he's been working on which will significantly change the development and deployment of GNOME for this (and other) reasons.
