Summary

Two talks: Ruby on Rails, a web framework using Ruby; and jEdit, a programmer's text editor.

Abstract

Rajiv shows us Ruby on Rails. "Rails is a full-stack, open-source web framework in Ruby for writing real-world applications with joy and less code than most frameworks spend doing XML sit-ups." David will be presenting and overview of jEdit, a programmer's text editor.

Bio

David Kramer is a veteran UNIX/Linux Software Engineer, BLU presenter, and SysAdmin.
